Pink Shirt Day unites Canadians and communities and serves as an important reminder of the power of demonstrating compassion, empathy and understanding and the numerous ways individuals can help to support and connect with others.
Across DSB1, students and staff recognized Pink Shirt Day by wearing pink and engaging in learning and activities that demonstrated a united and collective understanding of kindness, compassion, and empathy, and the DSB1 Strategic Actions of Relationships, Resiliency, Growth Mindset, Courage, and Student Voice.
