Thousands of youth, educators, families, and community members across Canada join #TogetherInHarmony for Music Monday each year.
In DSB1, students experience a range of music programs and musical opportunities. Students participate in initiatives such as Manie Musicale, an annual bracket-style competition where they practice their French while predicting which of 16 francophone songs will be the most popular. Students also proudly perform in music festivals and performances.
These invaluable opportunities help students find a sense of belonging, build their self-esteem, and foster their unique expression through music.
